Comedy “The Divorce Proposal”
On stage is a sparkling comedy by Merve Sevi and Barbaros Uzunöner, where personal relationships turn into a real political confrontation.

Their union is a kind of coalition called marriage. Such a union is expected to bring stability, but everything goes completely off plan.
Arguments begin from the very first meeting and do not stop for a single minute — not even on the wedding day. Politics, views, beliefs, and love collide in a series of witty dialogues and comic situations. In the end, the characters ask each other the main question:
“Would you divorce me?”
The play was written by Barbaros Uzunöner, the author of the well-known productions “Seninle Evlenir Miyim?”, “Freud’un İnsanları”, and “Etik Alkol”. This is a performance about love, ideologies, and how difficult it is to reach an agreement — even when the feelings are real.
