On January 10th, heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected in Northern Cyprus

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Wednesday, January 10th, the region continues to be under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air. Meteorologists predict variable cloudiness, strong winds, heavy rain, and thunderstorms.

The maximum air temperature will be 20°C, which is 2-4°C above the seasonal climatic norm. The wind will be strong, coming from the southwest.

There are no current weather warnings from meteorologists in Northern Cyprus. The dust that arrived in the region earlier in the week from Africa has dissipated.

• Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 20°C, Lapta – 19°C, Akdeniz - 19°C, Alevkaya - 15°C, Esentepe - 18°C.
• Western Coast: Lefke – 19°C, Güzelyurt - 20°C.
• Central Part: Nicosia - 20°C, Ercan - 20°C.
• Eastern Coast: Famagusta - 20°C, Iskele - 20°C.
• Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 19°C.
