May 14th: Rainy Weather Persists in Northern Cyprus

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Tuesday, May 14th, the region is experiencing low pressure and cool, humid air. Until noon, meteorologists predict cloudy weather with occasional showers.

The air temperature has returned to seasonal climatic norms. In some regions, it will cool down to 22°C, while the maximum air temperature will be around 29°C.

The wind is southwest, of moderate strength. However, no storms are expected today.

Two meteorological warnings are in effect in Northern Cyprus. There is a possibility of forest fires, and the low level of ultraviolet radiation persists.

• Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 25°C, Lapta – 23°C, Akdeniz - 24°C, Alekvaya - 22°C, Esentepe - 25°C.

• Western Coast: Lefke – 25°C, Guzelyurt – 26°C.

• Central Part: Nicosia – 28°C, Ercan – 29°C.

• Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 26°C, Iskele – 28°C.

• Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 25°C.
