Stormy Winds, Heavy Rain, and Thunderstorms Expected in Northern Cyprus on March 19
The TRNC Meteorology Department has issued a warning for strong winds and stormy weather in Northern Cyprus on Tuesday, March 19. A low-pressure system combined with cold, humid air will bring cloudy skies, heavy rain, and thunderstorms across the region.
Despite the unsettled weather, temperatures are expected to rise 2-4°C above the seasonal average, ranging between 18-23°C in most areas.

- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 19°C, Lapta – 18°C, Akdeniz – 19°C, Alevkaya – 17°C, Esentepe – 18°C
- Western Coast: Lefke – 18°C, Güzelyurt – 21°C
- Central Region: Nicosia – 20°C, Ercan – 21°C
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 22°C, İskele – 23°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yeni Erenköy – 20°C
