Hot and Sunny Weather Expected in Northern Cyprus on May 19

According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, high atmospheric pressure combined with hot and humid air in the upper layers of the atmosphere will affect Northern Cyprus on Monday, May 19.

Meteorologists are forecasting mostly clear skies with no chance of rain. Air temperatures will remain within seasonal norms, ranging between 26°C and 32°C across much of the region. No storms are expected.

Winds will blow from the southwest, generally moderate but occasionally strong.

Two weather warnings have been issued for Northern Cyprus:

• There is a high risk of wildfires.

• Ultraviolet (UV) radiation levels will be high. It is advised not to stay under direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes.
