Strong Winds and Rain Expected in Karpas on September 19

According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Thursday, September 19, the region will be influenced by low pressure and cool, moist air in the upper atmosphere. Meteorologists are forecasting cloudy weather with occasional showers, with the heaviest rainfall expected in the Karpas area.

Temperatures will remain within the usual seasonal range, staying between 28°C and 35°C across most of the country.

Winds will be strong from the southwest, although no storms are anticipated in the region today.

Two weather warnings remain in effect across Northern Cyprus.

The risk of wildfires is still high, and ultraviolet (UV) radiation levels continue to be elevated.

It is advised not to stay under direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking proper precautions.
