March 25th on Northern Cyprus is expected to have strong winds: a storm warning has been issued

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Monday, March 25th, the region remains under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air. A storm warning has been issued for Northern Cyprus due to strong winds.

Meteorologists predict cloudy and rainy weather with occasional downpours, especially in the vicinity of Famagusta and on the Karpas Peninsula.

The maximum air temperature today will be 20-21°C, which corresponds to seasonal climatic norms.

The wind will be southwesterly, of moderate strength, with gusts up to storm force. Storms are expected throughout the region.

An emergency warning due to strong winds will be in effect in the region from 13:00 on March 25th until 14:00 tomorrow.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 21°C, Iskele – 21°C.

Karpas: Yenierenköy – 19°C.
