Two Weather Alerts in Effect for Northern Cyprus on May 5
The TRNC Department of Meteorology has issued two weather alerts for Northern Cyprus today, May 5.
According to the forecast, Monday, May 6, will bring low atmospheric pressure and warm, humid air in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Skies are expected to be cloudy, but no rainfall is predicted.
Temperatures have returned to seasonal norms, ranging between 22°C and 29°C across most of the country.
Winds will blow from the southwest at moderate strength, occasionally picking up to strong gusts.
Authorities warn of a heightened risk of wildfires in some areas. The ultraviolet (UV) index is at a moderate level, so it’s advised not to stay under direct sunlight for more than 20 minutes.
