Pharmacies in the TRNC have shifted to a "summer" operating schedule
The Turkish Cypriot Pharmacists Association (KTEB) has released the summer hours for pharmacies, which will be in effect from today until September 15.
The summer schedule for pharmacies in Nicosia, Famagusta, Kyrenia, Güzelyurt, Lefke, Karpasia, Mesaoria, and İskele, running from May 13 to September 15, 2024, was published in the "Official Gazette" No. 187 dated September 14, 2023.
Nicosia, Famagusta, Kyrenia, Güzelyurt:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 08:00 – 17:30.
- Thursday: 08:00 to 13:30. Pharmacies will close in the afternoon.
- Saturday: 08:00 to 13:30. Pharmacies will close in the afternoon.
- Emergency pharmacies will operate from 08:00 to 00:00.
Mesaria:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 08:00 – 19:00.
- Thursday: 08:00 to 13:30. Pharmacies will close in the afternoon.
- Saturday: 08:00 to 13:30. Pharmacies will close in the afternoon.
- Emergency pharmacies will be open on Thursday and Saturday from 13:30 to 19:00.
- Sundays and public holidays: 08:00 to 19:00.
Karpas:
- Weekdays: 08:00 to 20:00.
- Saturday: 08:00 to 16:00.
- Sundays and public holidays: Only emergency pharmacies will be open from 08:00 to 18:00.
Lefke:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 08:00 to 17:30.
- Thursday: 08:00 to 13:30. Pharmacies will close in the afternoon.
- Saturday: 08:00 to 13:30. Pharmacies will close in the afternoon.
- Emergency pharmacies will be open from 08:00 to 22:00, and the ON-CALL system will be active from 22:00 to 00:00.
İskele:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 08:00 to 17:30.
- Thursday: 08:00 to 13:30. Pharmacies will close in the afternoon.
- Saturday: 08:00 to 13:30. Pharmacies will close in the afternoon.
- Emergency pharmacies: Weekdays from 08:00 to 22:00.
- Sundays and public holidays: 08:00 to 22:00.
Pharmacies not on duty will operate on the following schedule:
- Weekdays: 08:00 – 19:00.
- Saturday: 08:00 – 16:00. Additionally, pharmacies will remain closed on Sundays and public holidays.
