Ataoğlu: Actors to Perform Next Play on Their Own Stage
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu visited the Cyprus Turkish State Theatre building, where the second and third stages of renovation are underway.
The Minister noted that both stages of the project are being implemented in parallel, with intensive work being carried out to complete the facility even ahead of schedule.
Ataoğlu also mentioned that he watched the play "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" performed by the theatre's actors the previous day and expressed hope that the troupe will present their next production on their own renovated stage.
According to the contracting company, the theatre's opening may take place earlier than the planned date.
