An accident in Famagusta: a car fell into a five-meter ditch
In Famagusta, two people were seriously injured when their car fell into a five-meter ditch.
According to the police press office, the accident occurred today around 12:45.
22-year-old Mert Yunus Kılıç was driving along Hisar Yolu street when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and fall into a five-meter ditch.
Footage from the scene indicates that the vehicle overturned during the fall.
Two people were injured in the accident - the driver himself and a passenger named Şemse Türkmen. Both injured individuals were taken to Famagusta State Hospital, where they received medical treatment.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
