Bars and clubs in Northern Cyprus have been allowed to play music on December 31st
According to a statement from the TRNC Environmental Protection Agency, the music permits issued to clubs and bars will be valid on New Year's Eve without the need for additional permissions.
According to the announcement, entertainment venues that have previously obtained approval from the Department will be able to broadcast music on Sunday, December 31st, without the need for any additional permits from the Department, provided that all conditions are met.
Thus, businesses that will broadcast music must have a previously obtained and not expired music permit from the Environmental Protection Agency.
Businesses that broadcast music without a valid permit will be subject to legal sanctions in accordance with Environmental Law No. 18/2012.
