Death toll in Pamuklu traffic accident rises to two
The number of victims of the accident on the Pamuklu – Kumyalı (Iskele) road has increased to two. As a result of the collision, 71-year-old driver Cemal Temel and 64-year-old Hüseyin Nurçin died.
According to police, the car driven by Temel, moving from Karpaz towards Famagusta, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a car driven by 26-year-old Kadir Büyüksoy.
As a result of the accident, several people were injured and taken to Famagusta State Hospital, where they continue treatment.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
