Farmers in Northern Cyprus to be trained in combating vegetable diseases and the safe use of pesticides

The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has announced a training seminar for producers dedicated to vegetable crop diseases and the safe use of agricultural chemicals.
The session entitled “Vegetable Diseases and Pests and the Safe and Effective Use of Pesticides” will take place on Thursday at 13:30 at the Famagusta Development Center.
The training will be conducted by specialists from the Pest Control and Quarantine Division of the Department of Agriculture — senior agroengineer Nazife Arap and agroengineer Menekşe Çöker Aydoğdu.
Prior to the seminar, the specialists will visit farms in the region to familiarize themselves with current problems on site and provide practical recommendations for resolving them.
