Lefke Festival to Take Place from August 14 to 18
This week, the Lefke Festival will be held in Northern Cyprus, running from August 14 to 18 at the stadium parking lot.
Organized by the Lefke Municipality, the festival will kick off with a grand parade on Wednesday, August 14, at 7:30 p.m.
The event will feature a range of cultural and sporting activities, including dance performances and concerts.
Following the parade at 8:00 p.m., the Lefke Municipality Folklore Dance Team and the Masters of Folk Dance will perform.
Concerts will also be held by the Lefke Municipality Children's Orchestra, the Lefke Cultural and Arts Association Choir, Grup Frekans, Grup Otantik, and Fikri Karayel.
In addition, the festival will include golf and football tournaments, sports events, fishing competitions, and archery contests.
Throughout the festival, there will be food stalls and craft booths for visitors. Organizers will also set up product stalls and a children’s play area in the stadium parking lot.
