President of the TRNC Meets with Azerbaijani President
President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ersin Tatar, met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
According to a statement from the Office of the President of Azerbaijan, the two leaders held bilateral talks during the forum. President Tatar thanked President Aliyev for his continued support and solidarity with the TRNC, particularly praising his recent statements at an international forum hosted by ADA University in Baku.
The leaders also discussed the potential for mutual visits and cooperation in various fields.
It’s worth noting that President Aliyev has previously voiced his support for the international recognition of the TRNC as an independent state. He made these remarks during the forum “Towards a New World Order,” which brought together more than 80 experts from 44 countries.
