KIB-TEK to Disconnect Power for Debtors on November 5
The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has issued a notice to debtors regarding upcoming power disconnections. According to KIB-TEK, electricity will be cut off for overdue accounts starting Tuesday, November 5.
In its statement, KIB-TEK indicated that, as part of its debt collection efforts, all individuals and businesses with unpaid bills exceeding 675 TL and whose payment deadlines passed in October 2024 or earlier will have their electricity disconnected on Tuesday, November 5.
Additionally, power disconnections will apply to both individual and corporate customers who have outstanding debts from bills structured into installment payments under legal agreements made with KIB-TEK.
To avoid any service interruptions, customers are urged to settle their overdue bills promptly.
