KIB-TEK to Build New Branches in Four Districts of Northern Cyprus

Kıbrıs Türk Elektrik Kurumu has announced the completion of project preparations and tender procedures for the construction of new branches in four districts — Iskele, Güzelyurt, Lefke, and Gazimağusa.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Gürsel Uzun, stated that intensive work on projects, calculations, and tender documentation for the new buildings has been ongoing for the past 7–8 months.
The tender for the Famagusta (Gazimağusa) branch has already been announced. The application period ends on April 3, after which a contract will be signed with the selected company. Construction is expected to take approximately 8 months, allowing the branch to move from rented premises to its own building.
Projects for the new buildings in Güzelyurt and Lefke are already complete and are at the stage of transferring documents for the tender process.
In Iskele, the design is also nearly finished, and the construction tender is expected to be announced within the next two weeks.
According to Uzun, the new buildings are intended to improve working conditions for employees, enhance the quality of public service, and strengthen the regional infrastructure of the power utility.
