Koop-Süt announced a price increase — the new price list comes into effect on September 6, 2025
The cooperative raw materials company Süt ve Sıvı Yağ Ürünleri Üretim ve Pazarlama Kooperatifi Ltd. (Koop-Süt) has officially announced the introduction of new retail prices for dairy products. The price revision takes effect on September 6, 2025, as stated in the company’s official press release published on September 8, 2025.
According to the new pricing regulation:
- 1 liter of whole (full-fat) UHT milk is set at 47.75 TL, with a recommended retail shelf price of 51.25 TL.
- 1 liter of semi-skimmed milk also costs 47.75 TL, with a recommended price of 51.25 TL.
- Skimmed milk (1 liter) now costs 57.40 TL, retail — 61.70 TL.
- Lactose-free milk, 1 liter — 61.80 TL, recommended price — 66.45 TL.
- Vitamin-enriched milk (1 liter) has increased from 58.90 TL to 63.30 TL.
- Goat milk (1 liter) now costs 70.00 TL, recommended price — 75.25 TL.
- Pasteurized whole milk in a bottle (1 liter) will be sold at 53.90 TL, recommended price — 62.00 TL.
Similar price changes have occurred in previous periods as well. For example, in January 2025, Koop-Süt announced a price reduction: it was decided to cut the price of 1 liter of milk by 4.50 TL, lowering it to 49 TL. However, already in the same month, another increase followed: the price of 1 liter of milk rose from 43.45 TL to 53.50 TL.
Thus, the situation demonstrates a trend of frequent price adjustments driven by changes in production costs and market conditions. The new price increase, effective from September 6, 2025, is likely a response to such factors.
