Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque in Famagusta to close for restoration
One of Famagusta's main historical landmarks — Lala Mustafa Paşa Camii — will temporarily close for visitors and prayers.
According to reports, the mosque will be closed due to restoration work aimed at preserving the building and improving its condition.
During the renovation period, access inside will be restricted for both worshippers and tourists. The completion date for the work has not yet been specified.
The Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque is one of the city's most famous architectural monuments and attracts a large number of visitors every year.
