Meteorological Service: Rain expected in Northern Cyprus on Wednesday and Thursday
According to the Meteorological Service, between October 21 and 27, Northern Cyprus will be affected by a low-pressure area, bringing warm and humid weather conditions, and on rainy days — cooler and moist layers in the upper atmosphere.
Tomorrow’s forecast indicates partly to mostly cloudy skies. On Wednesday, clouds are expected to decrease and then increase again; short and light showers may occur locally along the northern coast and in the Beşparmak Mountains area.
On Thursday, partly to mostly cloudy conditions are forecast, with short and light rain possible in some areas along the northern and eastern coasts of Northern Cyprus. On other days, partly cloudy to mostly clear skies are expected.
The maximum air temperature in inland areas will be around 28–31 °C, and about 24–27 °C along the coasts. Winds will blow mainly from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally strengthening on the first day of the period.
For residents of Northern Cyprus, this means a chance of short-term rain in the middle of the week, mainly in coastal areas, which should be taken into account when planning outdoor activities.
