Between Gönyeli Roundabout and Boaz Intersection, Lighting Will Be Upgraded
In the TRNC, efforts are underway to improve the lighting along major transportation arteries within the municipality of Gönyeli-Aliçköy.
As part of a new project, the lighting will be upgraded on the stretch between Gönyeli Roundabout and Boaz Intersection. Work has commenced on activating the lighting and repairing faulty cables in this area.
The project is a collaborative effort between the municipalities of Gönyeli-Aliçköy, Kyrenia, and the Department of Highways.
Last month, as part of this collaboration, the area from Gönyeli Roundabout to Yılmazköy was illuminated.
It's worth noting that earlier, the Department of Highways in the TRNC had announced that due to lighting repair work on the main Nicosia-Kyrenia road, traffic jams could occur. Drivers were advised to use alternative routes or schedule an earlier departure time.
