MTG Clinches Sixth Consecutive AKSA Super League Title
The 2024–2025 AKSA Super League season has wrapped up in Northern Cyprus, with Mağusa Türk Gücü (MTG) once again emerging as champions. This marks their sixth consecutive league title and the 14th in the club’s storied history.
In the final match of the season, the Famagusta-based team delivered a stunning performance, defeating Larnaka Gençler Birliği 8–3. The yellow-green squad left no doubt about their dominance, closing the season as clear front-runners.
MTG maintained strong, consistent form throughout the season. Their closest rivals, Doğan Türk Birliği (DTB), ended their final match in a 2–2 draw against Esentepe. As a result, MTG topped the table with 72 points, while DTB finished second with 70.
