Young Ukrainian Boy Presents TRNC President with a Painting at the Güzelyurt Orange Festival

TRNC President Ersin Tatar attended the opening ceremony of the 46th Güzelyurt Orange Festival. During the event, a child from Ukraine presented the President of Northern Cyprus with his painting.

In his speech at the opening of the annual festival, Ersin Tatar addressed the issues that arose this year with citrus fruits. The President expressed confidence that all difficulties will be overcome soon thanks to the measures taken and the efforts made.

The Turkish Cypriot leader also reminded everyone that citrus fruits and other products are grown in Güzelyurt and emphasized the importance of researching the water supplied from Turkey.

The President noted that the TRNC will move forward, thanks in part to the efforts of agricultural workers who help promote domestically produced goods to global markets.

Ersin Tatar highlighted that Güzelyurt is a wonderful region and congratulated everyone who contributed to the organization of the Orange Festival. At the end of the ceremony, a young Ukrainian boy named Trofim Kormlets presented TRNC President Ersin Tatar with his painting.
