Public Toilets Installed at Gönyeli Cemetery
A “serious deficiency” has been addressed at the Gönyeli cemetery with the installation of public toilets.
Mayor of Gönyeli-Alayköy, Hüseyin Amcaoğlu, announced that the burial and memorial site is now equipped with public toilets. This improvement was made possible through the collaboration of civil society and local authorities.
"The work on the toilets, which had been needed for a long time, has been successfully completed. The Turkish Cypriot Construction Subcontractors Association made a significant contribution in a short time to provide the cemetery with toilets as part of the project they funded," wrote the mayor on social media.
