Cloudy and rainy weather is expected in Northern Cyprus on April 11th

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, on Thursday, April 11th, the region will still be under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air. Increased cloudiness with periodic rain is expected in Northern Cyprus after noon.

The rains will mainly occur in the Güzelyurt area and the central part of the country. Despite the rainy weather, strong thunderstorms are not expected today.

The air temperature remains within seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, the thermometer will rise to 25°C.

The moderate wind has changed its direction to southwest. No storms are expected in the region today.

Nevertheless, two emergency warnings from meteorologists continue to be in effect in the region: regarding ultraviolet radiation and the probability of forest fires.

People with normal skin can stay in the sun for about 15 minutes. However, it is strongly recommended to wear hats and sunglasses.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 23°C, Lapta – 20°C, Akdeniz - 23°C, Alekka - 20°C, Esentepe - 22°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 23°C, Güzelyurt – 25°C.

Central Part: Nicosia – 25°C, Ercan – 25°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 23°C, Iskele – 24°C.

Karpas: Yenierenköy – 22°C.
