In Northern Cyprus on April 24th, dust and heat up to 35°C persist

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Wednesday, April 24th, the region is affected by low pressure and hot, humid air. Three warnings are still in place in the region.

Meteorologists forecast cloudy weather with no precipitation. The air temperature will be 7-9 degrees above seasonal climatic norms. In some areas, thermometers will rise to 35°C.

The wind is northeast, of moderate strength. No storms are expected in the region today.

There is a high probability of forest fires and high levels of ultraviolet radiation in the region.

It is not advisable to stay under the sun for more than 15 minutes, especially from 11:00 to 16:00, without taking necessary precautions.

Dust from North Africa, reaching the island, will persist until the end of today.

West Coast: Lefke – 32°C, Guzelyurt – 34°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 28°C, Iskele – 29°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 29°C.
