Four individuals were arrested for drug possession in Northern Cyprus
Within a day in Northern Cyprus, the police detained four individuals for drug possession. The arrests were made in Iskele, Gonyeli, and Ercan.
According to the police press office, yesterday afternoon in Iskele, during a search of the car and house of a 37-year-old man by the Anti-Narcotics and Smuggling Department, 115 grams of cannabis and approximately one gram of a substance believed to be cocaine were found, along with scales containing remnants of drugs.
Also, yesterday in Gonyeli, during patrols by the Nicosia Police Department, about 25 grams of cannabis were found during a search of a car belonging to a 45-year-old man.
Additionally, during a police check of the belongings of two men aged 24 and 45 who were planning to fly abroad from Ercan Airport, three metal grinders containing drugs were found.
