Two cars hit a donkey to death in North Cyprus
A donkey was killed in a road accident in Northern Cyprus. Two cars hit the animal on the main road Yesilköy - Ziyamet.
According to the police press service, the accident happened the night before, around 21:00. A 61-year-old driver was driving a passenger car towards Ziyamet and hit a wild donkey that was crossing the road.
The impact threw the animal onto the oncoming lane, where it fell under the wheels of a second car driven by a 22-year-old man.
The donkey died of its injuries at the scene. The drivers of the vehicles were not injured.
