Telecommunication Service Rates Change in Northern Cyprus
The Council of Ministers of the TRNC has approved the "Telecommunication Service Fees and Implementation Rules." The new rates for communication services have been published in the "Official Gazette" and will come into effect on September 1.
Under the new rates, calls to landlines from home phones will cost 0.16 kuruş per minute, while calls from home to mobile phones operated by Telsim and Turkcell will cost 0.32 kuruş per minute. Similarly, calls from home to both landlines and mobile phones in Turkey will also be charged at 0.32 kuruş per minute.
Please note that VAT will be added to all call charges.
