In Northern Cyprus, food packages will be distributed to needy families for Ramadan
Ahead of Ramadan, food packages will be distributed to needy families in Northern Cyprus, prepared in cooperation between the Cyprus Vakıf Office and the Embassy of Turkey in Nicosia.
According to the Cyprus Vakıf Office, the aid distribution will take place throughout the month of Ramadan according to lists compiled jointly with relevant institutions.
The institution's General Director, Mustafa Tümer, emphasized that supporting families during this period is an important social mission. According to him, the traditions of vakıf charity continue to be implemented systematically and in a targeted manner — aid must reach those who truly need it and in a timely way.
Each food package weighs about 19 kilograms and includes basic long-term storage products: flour, sunflower oil, legumes, pasta, rice, as well as items traditionally used during Ramadan.
