Nurses’ March to Be Held in Northern Cyprus for International Nurses Day
This Sunday, the Turkish Cypriot Nurses and Midwives Association will hold a march in Nicosia to mark International Nurses Day.
According to union president Ali Özgöçmen, the march will begin at 3:00 PM in front of the Gönyeli-Alayköy Municipality building. The event will be held under the slogan: “Our Nurses, Our Future: Supporting Nurses Strengthens the Economy.”
The march will conclude at the Atatürk bust near Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital.
International Nurses Day is celebrated every year on May 12 to honor the dedication and vital contributions of nurses to society.
