A Series of Events in Northern Cyprus for International Women's Day
The public organization DAÜ-SEN and the Turkish Cypriot Teachers' Union (KTÖS) will host a series of events in celebration of International Women's Day. The events, including panel discussions, talks, and exhibitions, will take place in Famagusta and Nicosia. These will feature a range of professionals, including scientists, educators, architects, politicians, and artists.

A meeting with author Peray Hilmi-Harman, discussing her book Magical Realism.

The Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR) will present the book Our Own Space.

The organizers highlight the importance of greater female participation in education, politics, arts, and science. The aim of these events is to raise awareness of the barriers women face and their ongoing struggle for equality.
