The Güzelyurt District Governor's Office has announced that mortar firing drills will take place at the Mevlevi training area from November 25 to November 29.

According to the authorities, the drills will be conducted daily from 07:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Residents have been advised to avoid the area during the exercises.
During the drills, access will be restricted within a 500–700 meter radius of the training zone, which is located between the villages of Yuvacık, Kalkanlı, and Soğan Hill.
Additionally, it should be noted that from November 18 to November 22, the Cyprus Turkish Security Forces Command is conducting air defense training exercises at the İncirli training area in the Çatalköy, Teknecik, and Esentepe regions.
