A tuna fishing championship was held in Northern Cyprus
As part of the Sea Festival, a tuna fishing tournament was held on June 21. A total of 21 teams participated in the tournament. The participants set off at 4 a.m. from Kyrenia Marina.
Based on the catch count and weight, prizes were awarded in two categories:
- The biggest fish
- Total weight of the catch
The awards ceremony and festive feast will take place on June 22 at 19:00 on the grounds of Kyrenia Marina.
