Six people without residence permits detained in Northern Cyprus
On December 26, the Ministry of Interior of Northern Cyprus carried out joint inspections in Lefke, Güzelyurt, Lefkoşa and Famagusta. During the inspections, six individuals were detained who, according to the authorities, did not have valid residence permits.
The inspections were conducted in coordination with the police and district administrations.
Legal procedures have been initiated against the detained individuals.
The Ministry noted that as part of efforts to combat irregular migration and to maintain public order and security, such inspections will continue throughout the territory.
