In Northern Cyprus, the e-Devlet Kapısı mobile app has been launched: government services now on your smartphone
In Northern Cyprus, the e-Devlet Kapısı mobile application was officially introduced, allowing citizens to access government services directly via smartphone. The presentation ceremony took place at the presidential palace with the participation of government representatives and technical experts involved in the development.
At the first stage, users have access to 16 services, including obtaining birth and death certificates, verifying official documents, accessing information on military service, as well as checking conscription status and deferments. In the future, functionality is planned to be expanded to 56 services, corresponding to the capabilities of the web version of the portal.
The application was developed with the technical support of Türksat and government bodies of Northern Cyprus. Its main goal is to simplify citizens’ interaction with the state, making the process of obtaining documents faster, more transparent, and more secure.
Using the application is simple: after installation, authorization with personal data verified through the e-Devlet portal is required. The menu provides access to all active categories of services. The user can select the desired section, submit a request, and receive the document electronically. If necessary, it can be saved on the device or presented at government institutions. All operations are protected by a verification system, ensuring the security of personal data.
The app can be downloaded for free:
for iOS: App Store – KKTC e-Devlet Kapısı
for Android: Google Play – KKTC e-Devlet Kapısı
The developers emphasize that the mobile version will become one of the key tools of digitalizing public services, as it helps reduce bureaucracy, ease the burden on government structures, and improve convenience for citizens.
