Van Overturned on the Pamuklu-Kumyalı Highway: Two Injured
A serious traffic accident occurred on the Pamuklu-Kumyalı highway in Northern Cyprus. Two people were injured in the accident.
According to the police press service, the accident happened around 10:30 at the second kilometer of the road. The driver of the van was traveling towards Kumyalı when he lost control, veered off the road on the left side, and overturned.
The injured driver and passenger were taken to Famagusta State Hospital. Passenger Prantu Chandra Shill sustained serious injuries and was transferred to the surgical hospital, while the driver Rasim Genül was placed under observation in the emergency department.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
