Cool, Humid Air Begins to Influence TRNC: Weather Forecast for May 24th

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, the region will experience the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air on Friday, May 24th. Meteorologists predict varying cloud cover and showers in certain areas.

Air temperatures have reverted to seasonal climatic norms. In most areas, temperatures will range from 26 to 30°C. The greatest amount of precipitation is expected in the vicinity of Famagusta and Güzelyurt, according to the latest forecasts.

Winds are expected to be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally gusting to strong levels. No storms are anticipated for today.

Northern Cyprus is under three meteorological warnings, indicating a continued high risk of wildfires and a moderate level of ultraviolet radiation.

It is advisable not to expose oneself to direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes, particularly between 11:00 and 16:00, without taking necessary precautions.
