The new week in Northern Cyprus begins with warming and rain: weather forecast for February 26

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Monday, February 26, the region remains under the influence of low pressure and cool, humid air.

Meteorologists predict variable cloudiness and locally rainy weather, especially in the central part of the country.

The air temperature will rise by 3-5°C above the seasonal climatic norm: the maximum temperature will reach 22 degrees Celsius. The wind will be northeast, of moderate strength, with gusts up to strong.

There are no active warnings from meteorologists in Northern Cyprus.

Weather forecast for February 26 by regions:

Northern coast: Kyrenia – 20°C, Lapta – 18°C, Akdeniz - 19°C, Alevkaya - 18°C, Esentepe - 18°C.

Western coast: Lefke – 19°C, Güzelyurt – 20°C.

Central part: Nicosia – 22°C, Ercan – 22°C.

Eastern coast: Famagusta – 21°C, Iskele – 21°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 19°C
