TRNC Leaders Congratulate Turkish President on Re-election as Ruling Party Chairman
Top officials of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) have congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his re-election as chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AKP). The messages were recorded by TRNC President Ersin Tatar, the Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, and other prominent political figures.
“I wholeheartedly congratulate President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was re-elected as chairman of the Justice and Development Party at its 8th Ordinary Grand Congress, which I was honored to attend,” stated Ersin Tatar.
The TRNC leader also expressed confidence that “under Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visionary leadership as chairman of the Justice and Development Party, Turkey’s global vision in this new era, its impactful diplomatic initiatives, and its growing aspirations for development, progress, and prosperity will lead the country confidently into the future.” Ersin Tatar also wished success to the newly elected members of the Central Executive Committee and other key positions within the ruling party.
