Hotel occupancy during the holidays has been calculated in the TRNC
Hotel occupancy rates have been calculated in Northern Cyprus during the nine-day celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Some accommodations are already more than 80% full.
According to the Association of Turkish Cypriot Hoteliers (KITOB), the occupancy rate of large five-star hotels, which are members of the association, during the holiday is 83%. Small hotels will be occupied by guests at 49%.
It is expected that in 12 out of 106 hotels - members of the association, the occupancy rate will be 100%. In 42 of them, occupancy rates between 60-99% are expected.
It was previously reported that during the holidays from April 5 to 14, Ercan Airport will serve 749 arriving and departing flights, including regular, charter, and additional flights, excluding private liners.
One of the main days for Muslims, Eid al-Fitr, also known as the Feast of Breaking the Fast, celebrated in honor of the end of fasting in the month of Ramadan, will occur this year from April 10 to 11.
In Northern Cyprus, this year, the holiday weekends have been extended to 9 days.
