Northern Cyprus weather April 3: rain and occasional gale-force winds, up to 22°C

On April 3, 2026, the Meteorological Department forecasts precipitation and gusty winds in Northern Cyprus. According to the department, from April 2 to 8, the region will be under the influence of a low-pressure area and passing atmospheric fronts.

Light rain is expected in some places over the next 24 hours; isolated short-term showers are also forecast for Saturday. Torrential rain and local thunderstorms are likely on Sunday. Monday is expected to bring rainy weather in some areas, while Tuesday and Wednesday will see mostly clear skies with occasional scattered clouds during the day.

Maximum air temperatures in coastal and inland areas will reach approximately 19–22 degrees. At the beginning of the period, winds will blow from the northwest and west; in the following days, mainly from the south and west, moderate to occasionally strong. For today, there is a possibility of gale-force winds in some locations.

Residents and visitors are advised to consider the expected precipitation and increased winds when planning trips and outdoor activities, as well as to exercise caution in maritime navigation and when securing loosely fixed items on balconies and terraces.
