TRNC Police transition to new uniforms
The TRNC General Directorate of Police has announced the introduction of new uniforms for officers performing active duties.
According to the police press office, the new uniform was developed taking into account the feedback of employees to make it more convenient and comfortable for daily service.
The updated uniforms will be worn by officers at regional police stations and employees at border crossing points.
The uniforms were provided with the support of the Cyprus Police Support Foundation (POLVAK) and the Turkish General Directorate of Security.
The new uniforms will be put into use starting Monday, March 30.
