The TRNC police have solved three thefts involving stolen alcohol, construction materials, and $9,500
In Northern Cyprus, the police have solved three thefts that occurred in Nicosia, Dikmen, and Kyrenia. Serial thieves involved in stealing alcohol, a man who stole a pack of cement, and a suspect in the theft of $9,500 have been apprehended.
According to the police press service, the first theft occurred on December 3 in Kyrenia. A 21-year-old man entered a store and took a bottle of spirits without paying for it. The police identified the thief and arrested him. During a search of the suspect's home, another 21 bottles of alcoholic beverages were discovered. According to the investigation, this alcohol was also stolen. Two young men have been arrested on suspicion of stealing alcoholic beverages.
Additionally, on November 29, 24 packages of floor tiles, three cans of insulation water, and a pack of cement were stolen from a construction site in Dikmen. During further investigation, a 27-year-old suspect was arrested.
Furthermore, on December 1, $9,500 in cash was stolen from a residential house in Kyrenia. During the ongoing investigation, two young men aged 23 and 29 were identified and arrested on suspicion of involvement in the theft of money.
