Fire Service publishes report: 7 fires and 21 special operations in a week

According to the weekly report of the Fire Service, over the past week there were 7 fires and 21 cases of special assistance across Northern Cyprus. The total damage from the fires is estimated at approximately 422,000 Turkish Lira.
Incidents were recorded in Lefkoşa, Kyrenia, Famagusta, İskele, and Gemikonağı.
The causes of the fires included short circuits, overheating of oil in the kitchen, careless burning of garbage, and sparks from welding.
Special fire service deployments included:
- ensuring fire safety measures,
- assisting people injured from falling off beds,
- extricating victims from vehicles after traffic accidents and transporting them to the hospital,
- ensuring road safety,
- transporting deceased persons to the hospital as part of investigative procedures.
