The dust warning in the atmosphere in Northern Cyprus has been extended until Saturday
The TRNC Meteorology Department has extended the emergency warning due to dust polluting the air. Fine particles brought to the region from North Africa will remain in the atmosphere until tomorrow.
According to meteorologists, the new "dusty" warning is in effect in the country from 20:00 on Thursday, April 18, until 12:00 on Saturday, April 20.
"As particles of dust from North Africa are expected to cause air pollution in our region, citizens sensitive to dust are advised to be cautious," the agency said in a statement.
Recall that the dust warning was previously announced by the TRNC Meteorology Department on April 17. Initially, it was valid until 20:00 yesterday. However, as of this morning, the dust in the air has still not settled.
