Drunk Man Opens Fire from Balcony of Home in Famagusta
In Famagusta, a drunken man fired a shotgun from the balcony of his home. Police officers arrived and subdued the shooter.
According to the police press service, the incident occurred yesterday evening around 6:00 p.m. The 67-year-old man, under the influence of alcohol, fired several shots into the air from the balcony of his residence in a residential area on Sakizdjilar Street.
The police detained the shooter upon arrival at the scene. It was discovered that the man was in illegal possession of the firearm. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
