Dust from the Middle East lingered over Northern Cyprus until Wednesday
The TRNC Meteorology Department issued a dust warning for the country originating from the Middle East. Fine particles will remain in the air for the next three days.
The meteorologists' warning is effective in the region from noon on Sunday, December 3, until 18:00 on Wednesday, December 6.
The agency's statement notes that the dust particles will cause air pollution in the region. Since inhaling fine particles has a negative impact on human health, it is recommended to avoid going outdoors until this phenomenon subsides.
Citizens sensitive to dust are advised to exercise caution, especially vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, and people with chronic illnesses.
