THE TRNC ASSEMBLY TEAM PLAYED FOOTBALL AGAINST LONDON TURKISH MASTERS
The football team of the Republican Assembly had a match against the London Turkish Masters team. The encounter was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the TRNC.
The match took place at the "Ataturk" stadium in Nicosia. Vice President of the Republic and Assembly Chairman Zorlu Tore observed the game. The Assembly team included the Minister of Internal Affairs Dursun Oguz, UBP Deputy Ahmet Savashan, CTP Deputy Teberruken Uluchay, as well as some former deputies and parliamentary staff.
The event began with a minute of silence, and before the start of the match, the head of the Assembly presented awards and medals to the London Masters Team.
In his speech, Zorlu Tore noted that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is alive and wished mercy to the elders of the state and the martyr heroes who contributed to the building of the state.
Highlighting that the flag of the TRNC continues to wave, Zorlu Tore stated that the authorities will continue to follow the planned path with the support of Turkey. The outcome of the football match is not reported.
